1. How much money is HFCS looking to raise?

In order to achieve the goals outlined, and to solidify the schools capital needs for the next four to six years, we are looking to raise $300,000.

2. Other than the technological expenditures you have cited, are there other uses planned for the money raised?

Yes, the dollars we expect to raise will be allocated over a variety of specific needs including fees associated with the initial opening of the preschool, audio visual equipment, building repairs, etc.

3. How is this campaign different than other appeals I have seen from Holy Family Church, HFCS, or the Diocese?

This appeal is specific to maintaining and enhancing the educational programming at Holy Family Catholic School...right now. Although our school benefits from the diocesan United in Faith endowment, this campaign's goal is to address the specific needs of our school today.

4. If I choose to contribute, how can I be sure that the money will be used for the proposed improvements?

Monies received will be placed in a DIAL (diocesan investment and loan) account established specifically for the campaign's funds. The capital raised will not be comingled with other school or parish revenues. Campaign expenditures will be paid with monies withdrawn from the DIAL account, and expenditures will be reported to all who chose to participate with their dollars.

5. Is my donation tax deductable?

Yes, your donation is tax deductable.

6. I don't have kids at HFCS/my kids will be graduating from HFCS within the next year; why should I consider a donation?

Whether you are an active parishioner, an HFCS (or any catholic school) alumni, or even a non-Catholic, you will be investing in an educational experience that will have a significant impact on the lives of the students we serve and the community at large.

7. Is there a minimum donation amount accepted?

Any gift from the heart is a significant gift to the tradition of excellence HFCS has established.

8. Can I make a donation and pay the amount I commit to over time?

Certainly. Simply complete the donation form within this site indicating how you wish to handle your gift. Also, contributions can be made with any major credit card.

9. If the campaign falls short of its goal, how will the money committed be allocated?

We have established a committee that is dedicated to overseeing this campaign. In the event that there is a shortfall, this committee will review the contributions received and allocate them in accordance to the priorities of the campaign.
